Succeed.Net General Email Settings Guide

For all emails hosted by Succeed.net, the following settings will apply.

Please Note: Older email programs such as Eudora, Outlook Express, Windows Live Mail, and Outlook versions before 2016, are lacking updated security standards and will not function correctly. These will need to be upgraded to a newer email program.

Incoming Settings: IMAP or POP3

  • IMAP Settings (Recommended): IMAP is where you leave all email on the server and you view this remotely from your email client, BEST for using one email account with multiple devices.

    HOSTNAME:
    mail.succeed.net (regardless of your email address)
    Username: Your full email address (such as john@succeed.net)
    Password: Your Password (Required)
    Encryption: SSL/TLS
    Port: 993

Or

  • POP3 Settings: POP3 is now somewhat outdated where you download all the emails to one client and don’t leave anything on the server, good for using email on only 1 device.

    HOSTNAME:
    mail.succeed.net (regardless of your email address)
    Username: Your full email address (such as john@succeed.net)
    Password: Your password (Required)
    Encryption: SSL/TLS
    Port: 995

Outgoing Settings (SMTP):

  • SMTP Server: mail.succeed.net
    Username: Your full email address (such as john@succeed.net)
    Password: Your Password (Required)
    (Mac) Encryption: TLS/SSL
    (Windows) Encryption: STARTTLS
    Port: 587
    SMTP Server requires authenticationNote:  For Apple devices, you will need the username/password in your Outgoing settings. It will say Optional, but it is REQUIRED.
