Succeed.Net General Email Settings Guide

For all email hosted by Succeed.net the following settings will apply.

Incoming Settings: IMAP or POP3

  • IMAP Settings (Recommended): IMAP is where you leave all email on the server and you view this remotely from your email client, BEST for using one email account with multiple devices.

    HOSTNAME:
mail.succeed.net (regardless of your email address)
Username: Your full email address (such as john@succeed.net)
    Password: Your Password (Required)
    Encryption: TLS/SSL
    Port: 993

Or

  • POP3 Settings: POP3 is now somewhat outdated where you download all the email to one client and don’t leave anything on server, good for using email on only 1 device.

    HOSTNAME:
mail.succeed.net (regardless of your email address)
Username: Your full email address (such as john@succeed.net)
    Password: Your password (Required)
    Encryption: TLS/SSL
    Port: 995

Outgoing Settings (SMTP):

  • SMTP Server: mail.succeed.net
Username: Your full email address (such as john@succeed.net)
    Password: Your Password (Required)
    (Mac) Encryption: TLS/SSL
    (Windows) Encryption: STARTTLS
    Port: 587
    SMTP Server requires authentication

Note:  For Apple devices, you will need the username/password in your Outgoing settings. It will say Optional, but it is REQUIRED.
